About The Position
Providence Place of Chambersburg is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as caregivers. This role involves assisting elderly residents with various levels of care, including independent living, personal care (dressing, bathing, mobility), and memory care in a specialized dementia neighborhood. The position offers opportunities to be a caregiver, resident assistant, dining server, and a supportive friend to the residents. The company emphasizes developing co-workers and treating residents with respect.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to work as part of a great team.
- Reliable.
- Must be able to work every other weekend/every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Assist elderly residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and mobility.
- Provide support in independent living, personal care, and memory care settings.
- Serve as a dining server.
- Act as a supportive friend to residents.
