About The Position

Providence Place of Dover is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. In this role, you will assist elderly residents with various needs, including personal care, dining services, and companionship. The residents require different levels of care, ranging from independent living to personal care (assistance with dressing, bathing, mobility) and memory care in a specialized dementia neighborhood. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys helping the elderly, and works well in a team environment. Providence Place is committed to employee development and providing high-quality care to residents.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Reliable
• Ability to work EOW/EOH (Every Other Weekend/Every Other Holiday)

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly residents with daily living activities.
• Provide personal care, including dressing and bathing.
• Assist with resident mobility.
• Serve meals to residents.
• Act as a companion to residents.
• Provide care in independent living, personal care, and memory care settings.
