About The Position

City National Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to provide exceptional customer service and recommend banking products and services suited to customers’ needs. The role includes promoting and selling bank products, developing customer relationships, assisting with retail loan applications and closings, maintaining compliant customer records, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues. The position is on-site.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with banking software and systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Professional demeanor and ability to build rapport with customers.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a banking or financial institution is a plus.
Previous sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Promptly and effectively address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
Identify and assess customers’ needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
Promote and sell the bank’s products and services to prospective and existing customers.
Develop and maintain customer relationships and seek referral resources from existing customers.
Assist customers with loan applications, recommend appropriate loan structures, gather required documents, submit packages to the retail loan department, and close retail loans as needed.
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in compliance with banking regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to address complex customer issues and ensure prompt resolution.
