About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Charlottesville. The role supports assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening, and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. The Personal Assistant also helps residents with memory and performance improvement programs, provides light housekeeping and laundry, supports dining as needed or directed by the leadership team, and assists with activities that keep residents engaged and happy. The position is part-time and pays $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, but is not required unless required by the state.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive listening to assisted living and memory care residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Report changes in residents’ health and status and complete daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with dining as needed or as directed by the leadership team.
• Assist with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
