About The Position
The Cook prepares a diverse menu that accommodates residents’ dietary preferences and restrictions while providing high-quality dietary services in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. The role maintains kitchen and dining areas and engages with residents compassionately, supporting a warm environment in which love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction. The Cook participates in ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities. This is a part-time, weekends-only position at Vivera Senior Living of Columbus in Columbus, Indiana, with an hourly salary range of $18.00–$20.05.
Requirements
- Current ServSafe Manager certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
