This is not a traditional Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant position. It is an opportunity to become a highly trusted extension of Jerry King-Echevarria, Founder and Chairman of King Aerospace, across the business, personal, philanthropic and family priorities that shape his life. King Aerospace has grown from humble beginnings in the King family living room into an international aviation services organization supporting corporate, VVIP, military and government aircraft. Mr. King also owns El Lobo Ranch, a roughly 700-acre Texas ranch that serves as both a personal retreat and a place to bring people together. The ranch may host family, friends, customers, business leaders, dignitaries and other guests for meetings, dinners, events and special occasions. The successful candidate will bring order without bureaucracy, anticipate needs before they become urgent, and create the confidence that important matters will not be missed. The person will learn how Mr. King thinks, distinguish between what he needs to know and what he needs to do, and operate with exceptional judgment and discretion. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field from a four-year college or university.
• 7 years of executive support, project management, personal assistant, military aide, executive assistant, estate and household management, or private service experience.
• Proven ability to exercise high-level discretion, confidentiality, and judgment.
• Demonstrated experience making decisions on significant matters without direct supervision.
• Strong business acumen with experience working directly with senior executives
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, acting as an articulate, diplomatic, and poised liaison across all interactions.
• Refined interpersonal awareness needed to communicate effectively with board members, C-suite executives, high-profile stakeholders, staff, and family members alike.
• Skilled at active listening and precise synthesis, with the ability to convey complex instructions clearly, compose polished correspondence, and exercise absolute discretion in handling confidential or sensitive conversations.
• Maintains a warm, professional demeanor under pressure and seamlessly adapts tone and approach to suit diverse audiences and dynamic environments.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen eye for precision when managing complex scheduling constraints, budget tracking, and personal finance oversight.
• Adept at auditing invoices, preparing detailed expense reports, and identifying cost-efficiency opportunities without compromising quality standards.
• Ability to apply sound judgment to routine matters, interpret policies and procedures, and address issues involving multiple variables while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Evaluates logistics and multi-step plans with logic and rigor, anticipating potential bottlenecks, calculating trade-offs, and leveraging data to streamline both operational and personal workflows effectively.
• High level of proficiency with standard office software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and, email, internet-based systems, and document storage applications.
• A mobile office friendly person who is comfortable with remote and on-the-go work where sometimes an iPhone and iPad are the only available tools.
• Proficient in organizational and note-taking software who can rapidly organize and digitize a busy executive’s life using cloud-based thinking for rapid access to any and all needed information from anywhere with or without connectivity.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience supporting C-suite leaders in a multi-site operational environment.
• Experience designing or coordinating strategic projects, executive reporting, or cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Exercise independent judgment to assess priorities, redirect tasks, and manage the Chairman’s commitments autonomously, without direct instruction while keeping the Chairman informed.
• Oversee a complex, fluid calendar balancing board meetings, corporate commitments, personal travel, medical appointments, and family obligations.
• Coordinate seamless domestic and international travel arrangements, including private/commercial aviation, VIP accommodations, ground transportation, passports/visas, and detailed daily itineraries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal executives, external board members, family members, staff, and high-profile partners.
• Prioritize and route incoming correspondence with absolute discretion.
• Make decisions on significant matters, including determining which issues require the Chairman’s attention versus those that can be resolved or delegated independently.
• Oversee personal property matters, coordinate with private estate staff/vendors, manage household administrative tasks, run personal errands, and handle family logistics.
• Oversee personal matters related to El Lobo Ranch, a private 700-acre ranch that also hosts events for VIPs, dignitaries, and business partners.
• Plan and execute private events, dinner receptions, board dinners, and family functions.
• Oversee special personal purchases, gifts, and charitable commitments.
• Draft high-level correspondence, presentations, and messaging for internal and external audiences; prepare briefing materials, executive summaries, and decision-supporting documents to facilitate decision-making.
• Assist with personal expense reports, review vendor invoices, liaise with family office accountants, and maintain accurate records of personal and business expenditures.
• Manage confidential information with discretion and oversight, ensuring all communication reflects organizational standards and strategic intent.
• Lead and manage select projects or initiatives as assigned by the Chairman, ensuring objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met.
• Independently identify, prioritize, and resolve scheduling conflicts to maximize the Chairman’s impact and effectiveness.
• Evaluate the importance of meeting requests and determine the Chairman’s level of involvement or delegation.
• Coordinate high-level meetings and leadership gatherings with judgment regarding strategic importance and participant alignment.
• Review, evaluate, and facilitate approval of expenditures and contracts aligned with Chairman-level initiatives.
• Manage budgets for Chairman-led programs, events, and strategic initiatives, exercising discretion in spending decisions.
• Negotiate with vendors, partners, and service providers on behalf of the Chairman.
• Support the Chairman in guiding company culture by coordinating initiatives, messaging, and leadership alignment activities.
• Travel to all current and future King Aerospace locations as needed.
• Occasional travel with the Chairman to attend meetings, conferences, or off-site events required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities based on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
