About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for a part-time position with a set schedule. This role offers a positive, team-driven work environment and the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. As a DIRECT CARE PROVIDER, your work will support people living with disabilities and contribute to UCP Heartland's mission to be the provider of choice.

Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Valid Driver's license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer Proficiency
• Reliable transportation
• 5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45AM - 4:15PM

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
