About The Position
UCP Heartland is seeking a PART-TIME RESIDENTIAL DSP (Direct Support Professional). UCP Heartland offers a positive, team-driven, work environment at $21.00/Hour. As a DSP (Direct Care Provider), you will provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene, and facilitate fun activities. You will also follow medical orders and administer medications. Most importantly, you will provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings. Requirements
- High School diploma or its equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver's license
- Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
- Minimum of one weekend shift per weekend
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer Proficiency
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Prader Willi Syndrome a plus
