About The Position

Upon receiving an area assignment, the Perioperative Environmental Specialist performs daily and terminal cleaning tasks to help ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff. The role promotes good customer service by demonstrating EAMC core values in interactions with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• No minimum education or experience is required.
• Ability to speak and understand English to follow instructions and respond to patient and staff requests.
• Ability to read and understand chemical labels.
• Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician certification is required within 12 months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent GED desired.
• Previous housekeeping experience, particularly in a health care setting, is preferred.
