About The Position

The Perioperative Assistant provides support services for perioperative patients, helping ensure safe and efficient patient care flow. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting surgical surfaces, equipment, and positioning devices, as well as supporting the Perioperative team as needed. This is an onsite, part-time position at Greeley Hospital, scheduled for 48 hours per two-week pay period on day shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or satisfactory completion of the UCHealth-administered basic competency test in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
BLS must be through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date; the card must be valid through 60 days of hire. Renewals must be issued by the American Heart Association.
Ability to use critical thinking and decisive judgment and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
