About The Position

Dental Health Associates (DHA) in Madison, WI is seeking a dedicated Periodontal Dental Hygienists to join our East Clinic, Fitchburg Clinic and our Old Sauk Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with our periodontists, providing specialized periodontal care and supporting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health. Scheduling can be full-time or part-time, with flexibility from one to five days per week.

Requirements

  • Active Wisconsin dental hygiene license or eligibility (new graduates welcome)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Interest or experience in periodontal treatment and patient education
  • Strong communication skills with a patient-focused, team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Provide periodontal and preventive dental care, including scaling and root planing
  • Take and process digital X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal disease management, and home care techniques
  • Maintain a sterile and organized treatment environment
  • Accurately document patient care and treatment progress
