About The Position

We’re seeking an Experienced or New Grad Clinical Perfusionist to join our dedicated team at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital that includes Premium Call and After Hours Pay!! You'll collaborate with 3 skilled surgeons and a supportive team of 9 energetic perfusionists and talented perfusion techs. This adult-only caseload averages 1400+ cases annually, including: Valves and CABGs TAVRS and HiPECs Minimal ECMO and No Transplants! Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program.
  • Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
  • Ability to work on call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
  • High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values.
  • Focused on clinical quality and delivering the absolute best results for patients.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a high stress environment necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are essential.
  • Proven self-starter who works well independently and as a part of the OR team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide perfusion services during surgeries.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and a team of perfusionists and perfusion techs.
  • Manage adult-only caseload averaging 1400+ cases annually.
  • Participate in cases including Valves and CABGs, TAVRS and HiPECs.
  • Work on call and live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
  • Maintain a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values.
  • Focus on clinical quality and delivering the best results for patients.
  • Adapt and thrive in a high-stress environment.
  • Communicate effectively and possess basic computer skills.
