About The Position
This role involves the ability to independently assist ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients while being comfortable operating in fast pace emergent cardiac cases. The candidate must have 5 years experience in Perfusion and be able to work 5 days a week.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in Perfusion
- Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
- Ability to independently assist ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Comfortable operating in fast pace emergent cardiac cases
- Must have Spectrum Pump experience
- Experience in Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, CardioQuip HC
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
- Work Setting Experience Required: CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, Pedi General OR, and Trauma Level 1
- At least 1 year of EPIC experience
- Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) travel experience
Responsibilities
- Independently assist ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Operate in fast pace emergent cardiac cases
- Perform ECMO Transport
