Part-Time/Seasonal - Performing Host
About The Position
This is a part-time/seasonal role for an outgoing individual who can move in a group dance setting. The Performing Host will be responsible for learning and maintaining choreography and scripts, performing selected pieces of music in various environments, and engaging guests to be part of the show. The role involves managing guest experience by creating a fun and welcoming performance atmosphere, ensuring guest safety and security, addressing guest concerns, and assisting with event-specific tasks. The Performing Host will represent Callaway Resort and Gardens professionally and create a positive and inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Previous performance experience preferred.
- Ability to rehearse in a group and independently on the material that is shared by the Install director.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to the changing needs of events.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate event schedules is required.

Responsibilities
- Move in a group dance setting.

- Perform selected pieces of music in various environments.
- Engage guests to be part of the show.
- Manage guest experience by creating a fun welcoming performance experience.
- Monitor the Event to ensure Guests safety and security, including identifying and reporting potential hazards or disruption immediately.
- Address any Guest concerns or questions promptly and professionally, offering solutions where appropriate or escalating issues to the Special Events Supervisor, or Manager when necessary.
- Assist with Event-specific tasks, such as facilitating activities, assisting with entertainment and vendors, and ensuring Event details are executed according to plan.
- Represent Callaway Resort and Gardens in a professional and friendly manner, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all Event Guests.
