About The Position

The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and marketing efficiency across Cariloha's family of brands. This role develops and executes growth strategies across paid media channels while partnering closely with creative, email marketing, eCommerce, analytics, agency partners, and platform representatives. This is a highly analytical and strategic role for a growth-minded marketer who can balance day-to-day campaign optimization with long-term business planning. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning performance outcomes, identifying growth opportunities, and influencing cross-functional teams without direct management responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of performance marketing experience.
  • Proven success managing paid media budgets and driving profitable growth.
  • Experience with Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Affiliate Marketing, and Analytics Platforms.
  • Experience working with agencies and media partners.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect marketing performance to broader business objectives. Understands both brand-building and direct-response marketing.
  • Analytical Excellence: Strong quantitative and financial acumen. Comfortable working with large datasets and performance models.
  • Ownership Mentality: Takes accountability for business outcomes, not just channel metrics. Proactively identifies solutions and growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. Builds strong relationships across teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual and quarterly performance marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to scale customer acquisition while improving profitability.
  • Recommend channel investment strategies based on performance trends and business goals.
  • Contribute to long-term customer acquisition and retention planning.
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform developments, and emerging growth opportunities.
  • Own execution and optimization across Paid Social, Paid Search, YouTube, Display, Affiliate, Influencer Amplification, and Emerging Acquisition Channels.
  • Manage external agencies and platform relationships.
  • Partner with Meta, Google, TikTok, and other channel representatives to identify growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate and test new acquisition channels and technologies.
  • Manage media budgets and pacing across both brands.
  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including ROAS, MER, CAC, LTV, Conversion Rate, and New Customer Acquisition.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and contribution margin.
  • Develop performance forecasts and scenario planning models.
  • Analyze customer acquisition performance and channel effectiveness.
  • Partner with analytics teams to improve attribution and measurement frameworks.
  • Evaluate incrementality, attribution, and customer quality across acquisition channels.
  • Build actionable reporting and performance insights for leadership teams.
  • Translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Creative, and Content teams to develop high-performing campaigns.
  • Create testing roadmaps focused on Creative, Messaging, Offers, Landing Pages, and Audience Segmentation.
  • Use consumer insights and performance data to guide creative decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates throughout the customer journey.
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, eCommerce, CRM / Email Marketing, Product Development, Retail Marketing, and Wholesale Marketing.
  • Ensure acquisition strategies align with overall brand and business objectives.
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns across both brands.
  • Share performance insights that help inform broader marketing and business decisions.
  • Proactively identify new growth opportunities.
  • Test emerging platforms, tools, and technologies.
  • Recommend improvements to marketing processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Champion a culture of testing, learning, and optimization.
