About The Position
The Performance Improvement Specialist supports the management of multiple strategically focused Performance Improvement projects from initial concept through design and implementation. The role helps drive performance and financial results and enables Performance Improvement activities across the entity and/or region by integrating people, processes, and technology. The specialist completes workflow and application design, conducts business assessments, develops and manages detailed project work plans, and implements solutions for projects involving Performance Improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) with an emphasis in Clinical, Business, or Health Administration, or equivalent experience of at least 3 years in healthcare delivery and management, business, or consulting.
- Experience with performance improvement methodologies and tools and/or project management.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in health care delivery.
- Experience in roles requiring critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, relationship building, and public speaking.
