Performance Improvement Specialist

About The Position
The Performance Improvement Specialist supports performance improvement activities in a hospice setting. Candidates should have knowledge of hospice operations and performance improvement concepts, along with experience collecting and analyzing data and using basic statistics and statistical measurement tools. A credentialed and licensed health care professional is preferred, as is certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
Requirements
- Credentialed and licensed health care professional, as required; preferred.
- Experience with data collection, basic statistics, statistical measurement tools, and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Experience with spreadsheet and word processing programs.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality certification.
- Knowledge of hospice operations and performance improvement concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
