About The Position

This role focuses on driving continuous improvement within a healthcare setting. The Performance Improvement Coordinator will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve operational challenges, lead cost-containment efforts, and implement new clinical services and performance measures. The position involves researching and implementing improvement methodologies, training and mentoring performance improvement teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a healthcare-related field.
  • At least three (3) years of recent, hands-on experience in a clinic or hospital-based setting.
  • Proven track record in healthcare quality improvement (QI), performance improvement, patient safety, accreditation, or regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex operational puzzles, spearhead cost-containment initiatives, and seamlessly roll out new clinical services and performance measures.
  • Research, source, and implement cutting-edge improvement methodologies and tools that modernize daily operations.
  • Work with healthcare leaders to design and refine screening indicators, while providing engaging, on-site training and mentorship for performance improvement teams.
  • Navigate regulatory and accreditation requirements with precision, managing documentation, submission, and maintenance processes.
  • Lend expertise to policy, procedure, and contract reviews.
