Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience
- Previous hands-on experience as developer and/or performance architect
- Onsite client work 60% (3 days per week) in Charlotte, NC and client mandated time away, 5 days per quarter
- Associate's degree
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve.
- Engage in the five aspects of Performance Engineering, which include software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution.
- Be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, and be responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across various teams.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement performance testing strategies to ensure application reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on performance engineering best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and refine performance testing tools and methodologies.
