We're hiring a video editor who lives at the intersection of direct response and creative taste. This isn't a role for someone who wants to make polished brand films. It's for someone who understands that a scrappy, native-feeling ad can outperform a $50K production — and knows exactly why it converts. You'll own the editing of our direct response and ecommerce ads across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You'll take raw UGC, stock, AI-generated footage, and brand assets, and turn them into ads that stop the scroll and drive purchases. You'll work fast, iterate often, and treat every edit as a hypothesis to test against real spend. You come from the direct response or ecommerce world. You've edited ads that actually ran on Meta or TikTok with real budget behind them, and you've seen firsthand what works and what dies in the feed. You understand hook theory, problem-agitate-solve structures, and why the first 1.5 seconds decide everything. You have a trained eye for format and style. When we share a reference ad, you can instantly read it — the pacing, the cut rhythm, the font choice— and match it without a 10-page brief. You understand that DR creative isn't about looking expensive. It's about feeling real, earning attention fast, and guiding the viewer to an action. Over-polishing is a failure mode you've learned to avoid. You're already building AI into your workflow — Runway, Sora, Kling, Veo, ElevenLabs, Descript, whatever serves the shot.
