About The Position

We're hiring a video editor who lives at the intersection of direct response and creative taste. This isn't a role for someone who wants to make polished brand films. It's for someone who understands that a scrappy, native-feeling ad can outperform a $50K production — and knows exactly why it converts. You'll own the editing of our direct response and ecommerce ads across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You'll take raw UGC, stock, AI-generated footage, and brand assets, and turn them into ads that stop the scroll and drive purchases. You'll work fast, iterate often, and treat every edit as a hypothesis to test against real spend.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of video editing experience
  • At least 2 years editing direct response or ecommerce video ads with real ad spend behind them (Meta, TikTok, or YouTube)
  • Portfolio of ads with performance data — CTR, hook rate, ROAS, or spend scaled — not just "pretty" reels
  • Fluent in Premiere Pro or CapCut; comfortable in After Effects for simple motion
  • Working knowledge of at least 2–3 AI video/audio tools
  • Strong English (written and spoken) for async collaboration
  • Understands Meta and TikTok ad specs, hook frameworks, and why retention curves matter

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supplements, beauty, DTC physical products, or info products
  • Familiarity with creative testing frameworks (iteration on hooks, openers, CTAs)
  • Scriptwriting or hook-writing chops
  • Worked with a performance marketing team or media buyer before
