About The Position

Thirdlove is seeking a Performance Creative Designer to lead the creative output for their paid media engine. This role focuses on producing ads that drive new customer acquisition across various platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google. The designer will work closely with the paid media team, translating data and briefs into compelling visual content. Collaboration with internal Brand and Creative teams is essential to ensure brand consistency and product accuracy. The ideal candidate understands the difference between creative that captures attention and creative that drives conversions, with experience in performance advertising.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in a DTC or e-commerce paid creative environment.
  • Experience creating performance ads, not just brand ads.
  • Strong static and motion design skills.
  • Video editing capability required.
  • Deep understanding of paid social formats, specs, and platform behavior across Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Experience with creative testing frameworks (hook testing, format optimization, fatigue identification).
  • Comfortable in a high-volume, test-and-learn environment.
  • An evaluative relationship with AI and automation tools.
  • Strong visual communication skills with an eye for what stops a scroll.
  • Familiarity with performance data; ability to read a creative report and act on it.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working closely with media buyers or performance marketers.
  • Experience managing or directing AI execution tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid creative production end-to-end, including static, motion, and video ad formats.
  • Manage creative from brief to final asset, ensuring speed, volume, and quality.
  • Maintain brand voice, product accuracy, and visual consistency across all ads.
  • Partner with the paid media team on daily creative briefs and feedback loops.
  • Translate performance hypotheses into visual concepts using the creative framework.
  • Study channel metrics and best practices to inform creative development.
  • Monitor and leverage emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate to identify creative fatigue, flag underperformers, and manage replacements.
  • Utilize AI tools to increase iteration and format variants at scale.
  • Partner in the evaluation and selection of AI technologies.
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools in the creative space.
  • Collaborate with Paid, Brand, and Creative teams to ensure paid work aligns with the ThirdLove visual identity.
  • Develop a deep understanding of ThirdLove products to ensure creative is product-credible.
  • Contribute to seasonal creative strategy and shot list planning.
