About The Position

Peabody Public School District seeks per diem substitute teachers for day-to-day assignments or reassignments when a regularly assigned classroom teacher or assistant teacher is absent. Substitute teachers help maintain meaningful instruction by supporting students as they learn subject matter and develop skills required for learning outcomes. Compensation is $120.00 per day.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or completion of two years of college, or approval at the Superintendent’s discretion.
• Required criminal history background check.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal alien status.
