About The Position

Responsible for collaborating with the Staffing Manager, Administrative Supervisors, Nurse Managers and other Staffing Associates to anticipate and meet daily staffing needs based on acuity, patient care needs and census. Maintains staffing office records. Creates and updates daily staffing sheets and schedules. Interacts with staff and other departments through telephone, written, typed and verbal communication.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Additional coursework in computers and office management
One to two years of previous work related experience
Problem-solving skills necessary to maintain alphabetical filing, develop and adjust detailed, complex schedules, keep records, and accurately organize multiple data elements.
Computer skills in order to access and retrieve data needed for staffing
Communication skills needed to frequently answer telephone calls and work with multiple interruptions and still sustain positive communication.
Knowledge of Nursing Service functions and medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with staffing/scheduling preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
