Per Diem Psychiatrist - El Dorado PHF
About The Position
The Per Diem Psychiatrist will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of their Psychiatrist licensure. This role participates in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served, and by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. The position is per diem, as needed, with specific coverage on weekends (Friday - Sunday, 8 am - 5 pm) and on-call for emergencies from 5 pm - 8 pm, with an additional $250 per night for on-call duty. Telecare is an established mental health company founded in 1965, committed to delivering excellent and effective behavioral health services. The Telecare El Dorado County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed locked hospital facility providing acute inpatient psychiatric treatment to adults aged 18+, diagnosed with a serious mental illness.
Requirements
- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
- Successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry.
- Active DEA in good standing.
