About The Position

To deliver quality direct patient care under appropriate clinical supervision to patients with psychiatric disorders, or those duly diagnosed with psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders; to serve actively and constructively as a member of the organization's multi-disciplinary treatment team, and support the organization's philosophy of care.

Requirements

ADN
Basic knowledge of psychiatric disorders and detoxification assessment along with treatment procedures for chemically dependent patients.
Ability to interact effectively with the clinical team and other staff.
Competencies: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and time management.
Empathy for patients and their families.
Flexibility.
Consistent telephone etiquette and quality customer service at all times.
Proven capability of handling sensitive and highly confidential information.
Demonstrate the ability to learn concepts and develop additional and needed skills within a reasonable timeframe via organization's orientation and training program.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Legible handwriting.
Current CA - LVN License.
CPR & CPI (or to be obtained within 30 days upon hire).
