About The Position

Seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist with strong Laboratory skills to work in the Hematology/Core Laboratory under the direct supervision of a supervisor. The role is responsible for performing a variety of complex and routine tests within the Core Laboratory, complying with all safety and regulatory requirements. The position requires rotation of weekends and scheduled holidays based on departmental needs and participation in interdepartmental collaboration within the institution to provide the highest quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an approved program
• Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department
• One-year relevant Blood Bank laboratory experience

Responsibilities
