About The Position

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will work in the Hematology/Core Laboratory under the direct supervision of a supervisor. This role involves performing a variety of complex and routine tests within the Core Laboratory, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. The technologist will also be required to rotate weekends and scheduled holidays based on departmental needs and participate in interdepartmental collaboration to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science (Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology) from an approved program
• Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical laboratory experience

Responsibilities
