About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating daily pepperoni production line activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals. The coordinator will assign employees to workstations, provide direction and training, assist with troubleshooting, and ensure the line has necessary materials. They will also perform equipment setup, adjustments, and product changeovers, while maintaining compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation programs. Safety procedures, including the use of PPE and powered industrial equipment, must be followed. The position requires maintaining a clean work area, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with other teams to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
  • One year of consistent production experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to effectively communication in English, reading, writing, speaking

  • 1 year of leadership experience in a production and/ or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily pepperoni production line activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Assign employees to workstations and adjust staffing based on production needs.
  • Provide direction, training, and support to employees throughout the shift.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor materials and supplies to ensure the line has the ingredients, packaging, and equipment needed.
  • Perform equipment setup, adjustments, product changeovers, and basic troubleshooting to support efficient production operations.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation programs, including GMPs, HACCP, and company policies.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), powered industrial equipment, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area while supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Food Safety & Quality teams to meet production goals and perform other duties as assigned.
