About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a PeopleSoft FSCM Business Analyst. The project is estimated to last 12+ months with possible extensions and is a remote position. The role requires extensive experience in PeopleSoft FSCM implementations or upgrades, specifically as a General Ledger and Commitment Accounting business analyst, along with significant experience in state government accounting practices and creating project deliverables. The analyst will be responsible for requirements analysis, documentation, testing, and training material preparation.

Requirements

  • Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM on implementation or upgrade projects as a General Ledger and Commitment Accounting business analyst (8 years)
  • Experience with state government accounting practice (8 years)
  • Experience creating all forms of project deliverables as a business analyst (8 years)
  • Experience conducting end-to-end system testing (8 years)
  • Experience presenting information to business stakeholders in a formal setting (8 years)
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) (8 years)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with the Texas state agencies' PeopleSoft FSCM (CAPPS Financials) system (4 years)
  • Experience working in the Scrum framework and Jira (4 years)
  • Experience working with SharePoint lists (2 years)
  • Experience working with various Microsoft Teams features (2 years)
  • Experience with Phire (1 years)

Responsibilities

  • Requirements analysis and facilitating meetings with subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Documenting complex system requirements and processes.
  • Developing test scenarios and scripts.
  • Preparing training materials.
  • Conducting hands-on testing and supporting multiple test cycles.
  • Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
  • Conferring with personnel of organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements.
