About The Position

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Developer for a short-term contract role in Franklin, TN. This position involves designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications. The developer will be responsible for building and enhancing PeopleSoft components, developing reports and interfaces, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful implementation and support of PeopleSoft solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
  • Experience with SQL, SQR, and BI Publisher for report and interface development.
  • Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, migrations, retrofits, and performance tuning.
  • Strong collaboration skills with functional teams, business users, administrators, and database teams.
  • Experience in preparing technical design documents, unit test plans, deployment notes, and support documentation.
  • Understanding of coding standards, security guidelines, and change management processes.
  • Experience in production support, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft applications based on business requirements.
  • Build and enhance PeopleSoft components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
  • Develop and support reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and workflows using SQL, SQR, BI Publisher, and related tools.
  • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Support PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, migrations, retrofits, and performance tuning activities.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, business users, administrators, database teams, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain technical design documents, unit test plans, deployment notes, and support documentation.
  • Ensure development follows coding standards, security guidelines, and change management processes.
  • Provide production support, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
