The People Systems Analyst II, Workday is responsible for the effective administration, configuration, installation, provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of infrastructure systems to ensure availability, capacity, and performance. This role involves collaborating with peers and management on operational tasks, system enhancements, and project activities. The analyst will administer and adjust business process steps for accurate and timely transaction completion, document requirements, business processes, and system workflows, and escalate service requests as needed. They will provide general assistance and support for Workday-related queries and issues, advise team members on best practices, and create and maintain documentation such as job aids and desktop procedures. The role also focuses on developing innovative solutions within existing functionality, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within Workday, and contributing to the development and maintenance of Workday business processes and analytics. Additionally, the analyst will provide end-user support and training, offer one-on-one guidance to accelerate user acceptance, and assist in designing and implementing new functionalities. They will recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications for the Workday system, troubleshoot intermediate issues related to workflow and business process function, and support assigned Workday module(s) to maintain effective system utilization and accuracy. Root cause analysis and problem management strategies will be employed, acting as an escalation point for user-reported issues. Training will be provided to end-users, HR professionals, and managers on Workday system usage, best practices, and new features.
