The Market People Services Generalist is responsible for enhancing department functions by planning, implementing and developing training, onboarding, and employee orientation programs, the administration of employee benefits, payroll administration, and answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, policies and procedures. The People Services Generalist assists in all day-to-day functions within the People Services department including but not limited to: Greeting people and answering the phones, Overseeing office supplies and materials, Coordinating engagement activities/event planning, Administration of Workers’ Compensation, Provide regular assistance and follow-up to employee inquiries, Handle pay related issues, Records management, Employee relations, AA/EEO compliance. Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution. Coaching and counseling managers and employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Serves both internal team members and external customers, including clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. Works with sensitive and confidential information and ensures adherence to applicable privacy and security standards. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA). Applies organizational policies, procedures, and business office standards consistently and effectively.
