About The Position

Grand View Lodge is looking for a people-first HR professional to serve as our People Services Coordinator, Talent & Associate Experience; a role that sits at the heart of how we attract, welcome, and retain the talent that makes this resort exceptional. You'll lead full-cycle recruiting, coordinate onboarding and orientation, champion associate recognition programs, and serve as a trusted first point of contact for associates and leaders alike. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves the people side of HR, someone who finds energy in connecting the right candidate to the right opportunity, making a new associate feel truly welcomed, and building the kind of workplace culture where people want to stay. Working closely with department leaders across the resort, you'll help shape the associate experience from first impression through long-term engagement and be a visible champion of Grand View Lodge's values every step of the way.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, hospitality operations, or associate engagement.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills; you connect genuinely with associates and leaders at every level.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment without losing the personal touch.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.
• A genuine commitment to service excellence, cultural stewardship, and creating a workplace where people feel they belong.

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality, hotel, or resort experience is a strong plus; you understand the rhythms and demands of a seasonal, service-driven workplace.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.
• Strong event planning, coordination, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting for assigned positions: posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers through the selection process.
• Coordinate all pre-employment and onboarding activities: offer letters, background screenings, new hire paperwork, and onboarding schedules.
• Facilitate new associate orientation, presenting GVL culture, policies, benefits, and service standards in an engaging and welcoming way.
• Serve as a go-to resource for new associates during their first weeks: conducting follow-up check-ins and partnering with department leaders on department-level onboarding.
• Coordinate associate recognition programs including monthly birthdays, work anniversaries, service awards, and quarterly celebration events.
• Support associate engagement surveys, culture initiatives, and resort-wide recognition efforts.
• Serve as a first point of contact for routine associate questions; escalate complex matters to the People Services Manager.
• Maintain accurate associate records, personnel files, and data integrity within ADP and other People Services systems.
• Assist with recruiting metrics, onboarding tracking, and engagement reporting as needed.
• This is a resort hospitality role; flexibility during peak hiring seasons and event periods is expected.
• Other duties as assigned.
