About The Position

Giant Swarm is offering a paid master's thesis focused on researching and developing AI-based feedback systems. The thesis will investigate how AI can help people give better, more timely feedback while preserving the human element. The student will research the current state of AI-supported feedback in organisations, analyse how feedback flows at Giant Swarm, design and build a working prototype, and test and evaluate it with users in the company’s remote team. Data privacy, transparency, and trust should be core design considerations. The thesis may be written in English or German. The candidate must be enrolled in Germany. The student will have access to Giant Swarm’s People team and real users, with company supervision from Anna, VP People, and an engineer, alongside a university supervisor. Giant Swarm is a fully remote company with more than ten years of remote-work experience. The thesis has a flexible start date and duration and pays €1,000 per month for its duration.
