About The Position

The People Operations Coordinator supports the full employee lifecycle by delivering administrative and operational HR processes that ensure compliance, engagement, and a positive employee experience. This role works closely with operations, managers, and the People team to drive consistency in recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR, People Operations, or related administrative experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS platforms (Dayforce experience a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with multi‑state employment compliance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Post job openings and assist with applicant tracking across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate hiring events and job fairs, representing the company brand.
  • Oversee the Dayforce new hire process and ensure all onboarding paperwork is complete.
  • Administer background checks and maintain related documentation.
  • Conduct new hire orientations to promote company culture and policies.
  • Support IDEA+Belonging initiatives and recognition programs, including employee branding boards.
  • Administer exit interviews for hourly team members and facilitate the termination process.
  • Share People updates and communications during staff meetings.
  • Assist in delivering safety and compliance training sessions.
  • Maintain awareness of state‑specific labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Process hourly pay change requests and coordinate payroll deduction submissions.
  • Review timesheets and communicate discrepancies to managers.
  • Track meal and break compliance and report audit results.
  • Maintain general knowledge of company benefits for employee assistance.
  • Provide guidance on employment verification requests.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within Dayforce and ensure proper document retention.
  • Support coordination with The Work Number and other authorized systems as needed.
