People Operations Specialist (Recruiting Support)

About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive People Operations Specialist to support our recruiting and hiring efforts while providing general People Operations support. This role will serve as a key partner to hiring managers, candidates, and the People team, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruiting experience from requisition approval through onboarding. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating an exceptional candidate and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, People Operations, or Human Resources.
  • Experience using ATS and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Startup, technology, or medical device industry experience.
  • Experience with Lever, Greenhouse, or Ashby.
  • Knowledge of employment law and recruiting compliance.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage job postings across the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), company website, and external job boards.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience at every stage of recruitment.
  • Maintain candidate records and recruiting data within the ATS.
  • Assist hiring managers with interview logistics, interview panel coordination, and feedback collection.
  • Monitor recruiting workflows and ensure timely movement of candidates through the hiring process.
  • Support offer preparation, approval workflows, and offer letter administration.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, employment verification, and new hire documentation.
  • Generate recruiting reports and metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring trends.
  • Support recruitment events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruiting channels as needed.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes.
  • Assist with People Operations projects and employee programs.
  • Help maintain HR documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Respond to employee questions and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Support performance review, engagement, and talent management initiatives.
