About The Position

goodr is seeking flaminglets (baby flamingos) for their 2026 Fall Internship Program. This 9-week, part-time (or full-time if schedule allows), paid internship offers real-world experience in People Operations. The intern will gain insight into the full employee lifecycle, from candidate coordination and onboarding to auditing internal platforms and mapping smoother workflows. Responsibilities also include researching workforce trends and planning team events. This role is ideal for someone who loves building efficient systems and shaping a fast-paced team culture.

Requirements

  • Committed to the full 9-week internship: August 31st, 2026 - October 30th, 2026
  • Open to part-time (up to 30 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) opportunities, depending on your schedule
  • Available to work fully onsite at our Inglewood, CA office during regular business hours (9am - 5pm). This is a strictly onsite role for both part-time and full-time schedules
  • Required to be in the office on Tuesdays (minimum half-day), regardless of total weekly hours or part-time flexibility
  • Must reside in Los Angeles or the surrounding area for the duration of the internship
  • No college degree or prior experience needed—just a passion for learning and jumping into the flamingo-filled chaos of goodr

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Greenhouse, Asana, ADP, and Wrapbook is a HUGE plus
  • Strong passion for the employee experience and a desire to learn how a modern People department operates from the ground up
  • Background or strong interest in HR, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, or Business

Responsibilities

  • Support People Operations across the employee lifecycle while gaining exposure to the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced sports eyewear company
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring a seamless, welcoming first-week experience
  • Brainstorm, plan, and support the execution of team-building and company-wide events to keep our team connected and hyped
  • Help coordinate interview schedules, correspond with candidates, and occasionally source top talent for open roles
  • Conduct market research on workforce expansion and multi-generational motivations to help optimize our future hiring, engagement, and retention strategies
  • Audit current systems across the People team and identify potential platform or tool alternatives to encourage productivity and efficiency
  • Assist People Operations with day-to-day administrative tasks, data entry, and document upkeep
  • Review current process workflows across functions and suggest automation improvements to alleviate bottlenecks
  • Support continuous process improvements or internal communication projects as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
