People Operations Generalist
About The Position
Applied Intuition is seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious People Operations Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for builders who thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and want to play a key role in shaping the foundation of their operations. As a People Operations Generalist, you will optimize HR systems, implement scalable and efficient processes, and ensure data accuracy to support strategic decision-making. Applied Intuition is an in-office company, and the expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, they also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of practical experience experience in a People or HR-related role
- Detail-oriented and data-driven mindset
- Intuition and ability to identify potential areas of improvement in our operational cadence
- Proactivity in problem-solving - you don’t just spot gaps; you fill them
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in high-growth technology companies, particularly in automotive or autonomous vehicle industries
- Direct involvement in scaling startups from early-stage to larger organizational structures.
- Experience with HRIS systems, people analytics tools, and large datasets
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, enhancement, and management of People data and reporting, making sure we have accurate and actionable insights for decision-making
- Optimize People systems and workflows across Rippling, Carta, Greenhouse, JIRA, PAVE, and more
- Own and manage our rotation and mobility program, shaping strategy, policies, and process improvements while addressing employee inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Point of contact for employee questions and matters related to rotations, benefits, leaves of absence, and time off
- Generate comprehensive reporting and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
- Other People or general operations responsibilities as required by the People team on an ad-hoc basis
