About The Position

HERD – the leader in front-end collision protection is committed to producing the highest quality of leading-edge products for our customers. We are currently seeking a highly organized, people-focused and proactive individual to join our team as a People & Culture Coordinator. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will support recruitment, onboarding, employee programs, workplace safety initiatives, and performance management systems across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting employees, and helping create a positive and engaged workplace culture.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly

Nice To Haves

1 - 2 years direct experience with recruitment and onboarding will be given preference
Basic knowledge of WCB processes and reporting is considered a strong asset
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment initiatives including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding
Manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System
Attend career fairs and build relationships with schools and community partners
Support department leaders with performance management processes and updates
Coordinate WCB reporting, documentation, and incident investigations
Participate as a member of the Health & Safety Committee
Work closely with the Payroll & Benefits Administrator on employee-related processes
Maintain employee files, documentation, and internal records
Support employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives
