About The Position

The People and Culture Coordinator is a mid-level Human Resources professional responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities. This role provides administrative and coordination support for recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefit administration, compliance, and employee inquiries.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources, administrative, recruiting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic Human Resources principles and practices
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Ability to carry out multiple projects and priorities in an organized and efficient manner
  • Exhibit calmness and empathy when resolving client or personnel issues
  • Inclination to learn and apply new skills and tools
  • Flexible and willing to occasionally work after hours or on weekends for urgent tasks
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift a 40-pound box
  • Travel up to 10%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with HRIS systems is a plus
  • Experience with HRIS platforms preferred
  • Preferred certifications: Associate PHR, or similar HR certification

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job opening, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Assist talent agencies and hiring managers with candidate tracking and interview coordination
  • Process onboarding documentation and guide new teammate/managers through the process
  • Ensure completion of pre-employment and onboarding requirements
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Intake and respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, leave programs, and HR processes
  • Process employment-related transactions, including hires, terminations, transfers, and employee status change
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files in accordance with company policies
  • Support employee engagement activities and company-sponsored programs
  • Assist with performance review cycle administration and tracking
  • Distribute performance review process information and manage inquiries
  • Monitor deadlines and provide reminders to managers and employees
  • Support training and development program coordination
  • Maintain training records and learning management system data
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment and benefits-related inquiries
  • Support annual open enrollment activities
  • Maintain accurate employee data with HRIS and related systems
  • Process employee changes affecting payroll and benefits
  • Coordinate payroll-related documentation and reporting as needed
  • Generate standard HR reports and metrics
  • Maintain compliance-related employee records and documentation
  • Assist with HR audits and record reviews
  • Support completion of required employment forms and regulatory filings
  • Help ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and organization information
  • Support HR initiatives, employee programs, and department projects
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities within HR operations
  • Participate in HR system updates, testing, and implementation activities as needed
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and administrative documentation for HR programs
