About The Position

Illumio is seeking a People Analytics & Systems Program Manager to join their People Operations team. This role is crucial for optimizing the technology, processes, and data that power Illumio’s People technology ecosystem and support its global workforce. The position involves driving the end-to-end roadmap for People Analytics and Workday, from design and build to deployment and continuous enhancement. The successful candidate will deliver actionable analytics to enable data-driven decision-making, partner with various departments to ensure systems support global readiness, and uphold data governance and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS/People Systems with deep, hands-on Workday analytics expertise (dashboards, embedded analytics).
  • Experience in SaaS or high growth tech is strongly preferred.
  • Experience delivering Workday enhancements, and cross-functional system rollouts.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of building dashboards and delivering meaningful insights.
  • Skilled project manager able to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI-enabled analytics and automation within HR systems (e.g., Workday, Microsoft Fabric) to improve data insights, operational efficiency, and employee experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric highly desired.
  • Experience with systems such as ServiceNow and CultureAmp is a plus.
  • Workday certification(s), and/or data privacy certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with People leaders to shape the People Systems and Analytics roadmap, ensuring Workday/Fabric and connected tools deliver scalable, employee-centric workflows.
  • Translate business needs into efficient processes and drive adoption and continuous improvement across the HR tech ecosystem.
  • Establish and uphold clear data governance, ownership, and standards across all People processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance Fabric dashboards and analytics to support workforce planning, leadership reporting, and operational decision-making.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle to drive data-driven People strategies.
  • Partner with HRBPs, Recruiting, Compensation, Finance, HRIS, IT, and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance and build necessary reports and dashboards.
  • Manage global compliance programs (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, SOX) and lead risk assessments for People processes in partnership with Legal, Security, and IT.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to users to drive system adoption, data accuracy, and compliance consistency.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Finance, IT, Legal, Security, and the broader People Team to ensure initiatives meet business needs and scale effectively.
  • Drive business process optimization and provide ongoing support to users to ensure data accuracy and compliance consistency.
  • Lead other projects as required.
