About The Position

As a People Analytics Analyst on Workday’s People Data Foundations & Insights team, you will work closely with the various People & Purpose Centers of Excellence to help build analytical insights that our business leaders need to help scale and grow Workday. This key team member will need to influence internal and external stakeholders, use data to impact key strategic business decisions, and rapidly build solutions to scale insights throughout the organization. This role will deliver results in these mission-critical areas: Drive Automation, Data Governance, and Quality of Insights You will work to automate your ongoing work via core Workday and external analytical tools to provide greater capacity for advising and project work Create standard and repeatable work via Workday and analytical tools to automate as much data insight reporting as possible Ensure data quality through documenting field and filter usage and following standard guidelines Establish quality assurance of delivered insights and design testing techniques to ensure accurate results are delivered across the business at scale Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to communicate insights to decision-makers You will be responsible for helping to solve complex problems faced by our leadership and management by providing scalable analytics and insights of our people and people practices Consult with key stakeholders to identify the desired outcome they are trying to drive with data, then advise them on the best methods to reach the outcome Create specifications for analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements Identify patterns and insights from people data to help optimize decision making Develop analytics, tools, and insights in Workday that drive Improved Decision Making about our People, Culture, and Leadership You will help enable our people strategies through high quality, compelling analytics that arm our leaders with the insights they need to scale our business and ensure that Workday is a great place to work for all Develop and execute insights that inform decision making around our people, culture, and leadership Implement research findings in of Workday technology through Prism, dashboards, Extend, and other technologies Apply agentic capabilities to enhance how insights are delivered and operationalized

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, specifically related to Computational Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Talent Analytics, Survey Design and Analysis, People Analytics or related fields (human resources, statistics, economics, network science)
  • Workday experience in Report Writer, Prism Analytics, dashboards, domain security
  • Prior use of business intelligence and analytics tools required; data visualization tools, data manipulation tools, integration tools (APIs), ETL tools, and data storage tools
  • Problem Solving: Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems
  • Collaboration: Cultivates and leverages productive collaborative relationships to deliver results
  • Innovation: Creates new ideas and associations that generate new value
