About The Position

We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Account Executive to lead and grow a diverse portfolio of clients in the PEO space. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, oversee the delivery of high-quality service, manage complex insurance programs, and drive account expansion opportunities. The ideal candidate is proactive, consultative, and experienced in managing sophisticated commercial accounts with varied and evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in account management, account executive, or client advisory roles within a brokerage or related insurance environment.
  • Proven success managing large or complex commercial accounts.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (US state specific)
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Designations such as CIC, CISR, ARM, or equivalent.
  • Experience with surplus lines placements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor and point of contact for assigned clients across multiple industries.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships and guide clients through risk management and insurance program decisions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business model, operational challenges, and long-term goals to anticipate needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Lead the full renewal strategy, including coverage analysis, exposure review, marketing direction, and negotiation of terms with carriers.
  • Review quotes and proposals for accuracy and alignment with client objectives; deliver recommendations and present renewal outcomes.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of policy changes, endorsements, invoicing, and audits in partnership with the account management team.
  • Oversee the integrity and completeness of client files within the EPIC agency management system.
  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, industry, and internal compliance standards.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality across all deliverables.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex claims issues and collaborate with claims adjusters to ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate claim status, strategy, and next steps to clients and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and value-added services.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, account managers, and technical specialists to deliver seamless client service.
  • Participate in internal meetings, training initiatives, process improvement efforts to strengthen team performance.
