As a Client Executive, you are the trusted advisor at the forefront of customer transformation - driving outcomes, expanding relationships, and growing NetApp's business through its integrated cloud, data, storage, security, and AI platform.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in enterprise-level sales, with a focus on selling storage, cloud solutions, or related technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales quotas, with experience managing and growing enterprise accounts.
  • Experience working in tandem with Solutions Engineers or Architects to drive sales success.
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in sales forecasting, performance tracking, and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within enterprise organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Strongly preferred experience in cloud storage and on-premises storage within the tech B2B sector, ensuring a deep understanding of both environments and their business implications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer's strategies, goals, challenges, risks, and transformation priorities, and connect them to differentiated NetApp’s unified platform and solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by combining technical curiosity, business acumen, and solution expertise to guide customer transformation.
  • Demonstrate strong hunting mentality - identifying whitespace opportunities, new workloads, emerging buyer personas, and expansion paths across your territory.
  • Maintain disciplined sales excellence, including pipeline management and forecast accuracy, using MEDDICC aligned with discovery and qualification.
  • Lead the orchestration of integrated pursuit team so the customer experiences one, integrated team. Drive post sales handoff to Customer Success with a clear value realization plan tied to the original business case.
