We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise workflow and case management solutions using Pega technology. This role requires advanced knowledge of the Pega platform, strong integration experience, and the ability to lead development efforts for complex business process automation initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader, partnering with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. Requirements

  • Must hold the Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Pega concepts including Rule Resolution, Class Structure Design, Case Management, Low-Code Development, Scalability, and Reusability.
  • Hands-on experience with Pega User Interface development, Case Design, Data Modeling, Data Pages, Reporting, Security, Agents, and the Pega Unit Testing Framework.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise messaging patterns.
  • Experience analyzing and troubleshooting issues using Pega logs and alert logs.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 Accessibility requirements.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, Test Automation, TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High focus on quality and commitment to delivering secure, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Position will require the ability to obtain Level 5 suitability screening (Public Trust Position –Positions) with SSA (including fingerprinting).
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and web service development.
  • Experience integrating applications with SQL Server and other relational database platforms.
  • Experience designing and supporting API-based integrations between Pega and external enterprise applications.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS is preferred.
  • Experience with Pega Robotics and Robot Manager.
  • Experience leading Agile development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of BPM/BRE business applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Serve as a technical lead for complex application development efforts and provide guidance to junior developers.
  • Design and implement enterprise workflow and case management solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with solution architects to ensure delivered solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and support integrations between Pega applications and enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
  • Design scalable and reusable application components leveraging Pega best practices and low-code development capabilities.
  • Collaborate with architects to establish technical roadmaps, development standards, frameworks, and implementation strategies.
  • Lead code reviews and enforce development standards, quality controls, and best practices.
  • Support backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
  • Ensure application solutions meet performance, reliability, security, accessibility, and maintainability requirements.
  • Evaluate technical impacts of platform upgrades and third-party product releases.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation and emerging technologies to improve business processes.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to the development of organizational Pega best practices.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Serve as a primary technical resource for project stakeholders and development teams.
