About The Position

Acentra Health is seeking peer reviewers with at least 5 years of clinical experience to review medical records and make a standard of care determination. The reports require the peer reviewer to discuss clinical disease processes, published guidelines, overall care provided and QI recommendations. We are seeking: Family Medicine Physicians, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to work from home with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

Active unrestricted license
Board certification (Physicians only)
5 years' clinical experience as a Family Medicine Physician, or Physician Assistant, or RN, or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with 5 years' experience in an outpatient setting.
Active clinical practice of at least 20 hours per week
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent written communication skills

Responsibilities

Review medical records for standard of care determinations.
Provide quality improvement recommendations.
Discuss clinical disease processes, published guidelines, and overall care provided.
Adhere to all corporate policies including HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.
