About The Position
The Peer Navigator connects students to basic needs resources, including the Student Basic Needs Coalition's Navvy benefits screener, through a mix of one-on-one conversations and broader campus outreach. This role combines the relationship-based work of connecting students to support in the moments they need it with occasional, more visible outreach that builds awareness across campus. An ideal candidate is a student who's comfortable both in individual conversations and in more public-facing settings like tabling or presenting, and who wants a paid role focused on connecting peers to basic needs support.

Responsibilities
- Mentioning Navvy and basic needs resources in one-on-one conversations with peers
- Making warm handoffs to Navvy or other resources when a student's need comes up
- Displaying Navvy flyers, resource cards, or QR codes in shared campus spaces
- Tabling or hosting an occasional outreach activity at a high-traffic location
- Presenting to a student organization, class, or residence hall periodically
- Creating or sharing content (a social post, flyer, or testimonial) to raise awareness
