Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician (MD or DO)
  • Eligible for or active North Carolina medical licensure
  • Comfortable practicing in a high-volume outpatient setting
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for community health and serving diverse patient populations
  • Desire to establish a long-term professional home within a mission-driven organization

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents
  • Perform well-child exams, preventive screenings, and routine pediatric evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Promote preventative health, wellness, and patient education
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, medical assistants, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support the organization's mission of improving healthcare access and outcomes within the community
  • Participate in occasional evening and weekend coverage as needed
