Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician (MD or DO)
- Eligible for or active North Carolina medical licensure
- Comfortable practicing in a high-volume outpatient setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for community health and serving diverse patient populations
- Desire to establish a long-term professional home within a mission-driven organization
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents
- Perform well-child exams, preventive screenings, and routine pediatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Promote preventative health, wellness, and patient education
- Collaborate with nursing staff, medical assistants, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support the organization's mission of improving healthcare access and outcomes within the community
- Participate in occasional evening and weekend coverage as needed
