About The Position

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a full-time Pediatrician to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Keokuk, IA! This role offers a strong work-life balance with a flexible and consistent schedule within clinic hours. The position involves 36 patient contact hours and 4 admin hours per week, seeing an average of 18-20 patients per day. You will be part of a fully supportive provider team, including another Pediatrician, a Pediatric NP, and a Pediatric PA, along with clinical support staff. The position offers a competitive salary starting around $246,000 and up, based on experience, plus quality and productivity incentives. A significant sign-on bonus and student loan repayment options are available. The health center utilizes Ochin Epic for EHR. Community health centers (FQHCs) are the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations, offering an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa

Responsibilities

  • Provide care at a community health center (FQHC).
